CREW Joins Coalition in Letter to President Obama to Express Views on SEC Vacancies

SEC LogoOn June 12, 2015, CREW joined coalition of 21 organizations in sending a letter to President Obama to express views on upcoming vacancies at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). In the letter, the coalition called on the president to fill those vacancies with nominees who are staunchly supportive of the mission of the SEC and fully committed to enhancing the financial security of all Americans. The SEC has a mission to protect investors, and those nominated to serve on the commission should have direct experience developing public policy positions from the perspective of investors, rather than continue the practice of a revolving door between the SEC and Wall Street.
